Screencasting Example!

This video is about Final Cut Pro for Beginners. As a Mass Comm major, this is something very useful to know. This video starts off with the guy explaining what each window in the program is and what is within those windows. He shows how to import videos by going to file> import or you can just press Ctrl+I. He also explains how you can change the different windows whether by adding or maximizing them by going to Window in the upper line. Finally he shows how to export your video.

Screencasting is sooooo much easier when trying describe something on the computer especially when the majority of the world's population is compuer savvy! People prefer to see something and be shown how its done phsically as opposed to reading it and figuring it out on their own. Also watching a screencast can take up less time. Reading and trying to do the activity takes a lot longer than being shown and actually doing the activity yourself!
